As small as it gets

Being one of the smallest underwater cameras on the market the miniCam is like no other camera — packed with features and must haves. The camera has a highly sensitive 1/4” CMOS sensor with twice the sensitivity of the 1/3″ Sony Ex-View® sensor.

Compass

One of the unique features of the S³ miniCam is the built-in Compass and Tilt sensor, wherever you look you know exactly in what direction and angle you are looking in. The compass is tilt-compensated to enhance the direction data in none horizontal orientations.

The orientation data can be outputted to be used in other sensors or as orientation data for a topside application.

Overlay

The S3 miniCam comes with built in video-overlay that enables real-time display of Pitch, Roll, Heading and Time without external parts. It will also give you the option of showing data of other sensors in real-time on the overlay, depending on the sensor this will be in numbers or as a visual representation like a graph.

S³ Sensor Network

As for all accessories and sensors in the S³ SensorNetwork series they use the same data bus and interface, this simplifies for the end customer where more equipment can be added without modifying the host platform.

All sensors can be configured, updated and monitored in real-time. Besides recording data locally in sensors the data can be recorded straight in the PC Software, data recorded in sensors can be downloaded to the software when desired. One sensor can record data from other sensors hence internal data storage for all sensors is not necessary.
