S³ Light sensor

The sensor measures properties of the incoming light which can be used in scientific research and in Environment Surveys but also in simple applications such as where color temperature in an environment needs to be established. The output consists of light intensity, estimated IR/UV and color temperature. The light intensity is measured in Lux and produces intensity data for ambient (all), red ,green and blue color light.

Recording

The data can be recorded to a solid state memory which can hold up to 26months of recorded data when sampling all values once per second! The data can either be recorded on an internal memory in the sensor, on another sensor’s memory and/or through the PC Software. Internal memory is optional and can be added to most sensors in the S³ SensorNetwork series.

S³ Sensor Network

As for all accessories and sensors in the S³ SensorNetwork series they use the same data bus and interface, this simplifies for the end customer where more equipment can be added without modifying the host platform.

All sensors can be configured, updated and monitored in real-time. Besides recording data locally in sensors the data can be recorded straight in the PC Software, data recorded in sensors can be downloaded to the software when desired. One sensor can record data from other sensors hence internal data storage for all sensors is not necessary.
